University Challenge

My brother Malcolm alerted me to the fact that the University Challenge programme tonight was a contest between Hospital Consultants and our very own Faculty of Advocates (or Faculty of Fuckwits as Malcolm put it, though I couldn’t possibly comment).
He added presciently “...that’ll be an easy win for the Hospital Consultants then….“
And, lo, it did come to pass as foretold.
But in fairness, after a slow start the horsehair-wig brigade came on to a bit of a game and for a brief few seconds looked as though they might just win, before collapsing amidst a welter of questions about classical music and obscure English period drama.
It’s bad enough losing, but just wait till they find out that they can’t charge a fee for this !
