11 March 1962 - 20 year old Bob Dylan was a guest on the New York radio show ‘Folksinger’s Choice’ hosted by Cynthia Gooding (though the show had probably been recorded in January of that year).
With his first album about to be released in the next fortnight, Bob played some songs from the album and others which were never released officially. Presented below is his performance of ‘the Death of Emmett Till’

I agree - it is totally amazing to me to think that I first saw Bob live in 1978, at which time some critics thought he was over the hill.
I’m going to see him in Glasgow on 11th April - this will be my 19th Bob-concert - and I can’t wait !!

I remember that’s when I first heard of Dylan-around 1978-1980 and he was supposed to be over the hill-I couldnt understand his 1960s lyrics and his harsh sound was hard to listen to-almost archaic then-Baby Stop Crying was the first and last hit I remember him having, which I love. Funny all his stuff sounds great to me now.
